"Outstanding amongst the soloists, however, was Caroline Halls, who gave a fresh and effortless account of her wide-ranging recitatives and arias, and produced some exquisitely executed and appropriate baroque ornamentation. She was indeed a delight both to listen to and to watch."

Caroline grew up in nearby Salisbury, and was a chorister in the pioneering girls choir there. She later studied Music at Oxford and then lived in London for 5 years, becoming a regular on the church scene, including as part of the special service choirs at Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral and St Paul's Cathedral. Other singing work has included as part of film soundtracks, corporate functions and more.

She is available for a variety of work, including ensemble concerts, solo recitals and weddings/funerals/other church services. Standard repertoire includes early music staples such as Bach, Handel, Vivaldi and Monteverdi, but she has also enjoyed performing Fauré, Villa-Lobos and Brahms - and has been known to sing folk, jazz and musical theatre too!

Fees will vary depending on the type of engagement, so please get in touch to discuss. She also has a varied network of fellow singers, accompanists, other instrumentalists and conductors, so feel free to mention if you require these elements too.

"While enjoying all the voices, I found the two sopranos, Caroline Halls and Lucy Cox, exceptional. Very well contrasted but retaining high quality sound, they both put over the gorgeous top notes of the ensemble to perfection"
